On Test Wiki, most user rights are given out relatively freely, as long as users are reasonably trusted and have some reason to need the permission. Some special cases are described below.
Rights can be requested at Project:Community portal.
Bureaucrat[edit source]
The bureaucrat group has permission to add and remove advanced rights. This group is generally only assigned to stewards, system administrators, staff, and other highly trusted and experienced users.
Restricted user groups[edit source]
The checkuser, suppressor, and steward groups can assigned only by stewards. They will only be granted to stewards, system administrators, staff, and other users in very limited cases. In all cases, identification is required.
